Mandan Insulation was founded in 2018 by insulation professionals who grew up in central North Dakota and understood firsthand what the winters here demand from a home. Based in Mandan, right across the Missouri River from Bismarck, the company started by serving neighbors dealing with drafty attics and cold floors - the kind of problems that show up fast when January temperatures drop well below zero.
Over the years, the work expanded. Homeowners in older neighborhoods near downtown Mandan needed retrofit insulation in walls and crawl spaces that had never been properly sealed. Newer subdivisions on the west and south sides of town needed spray foam in rim joists and attics to meet modern energy standards. Businesses across the region needed commercial insulation built for a northern climate.
